Welcome to the DMA Blog

Each month, DMA will select up to 5-10 writing submissions to post on our blog!

If you would like to join the DMA writing community, check out the requirements below and get to writing! 

Requirements:

1. Topic Areas – We encourage submission topics to align with one or more of the following categories: Education, Poetry, Career, Research, Finance, Languages, Literary Essays, Health, and Academia (e.g., Math, Psychology, Writing, ESL, History, Science). If your topic falls outside these suggestions, feel free to contact us for approval or submit it for review. 
2. Title – All submissions must include a relevant and captivating title. Remember, these are the first words your audience readers. 
3. Length – Your piece should not be longer than 1500-2000 words. Additionally, we welcome works that are also as short as 500 words. 
4. Photo – Each article submission must include a relevant image highlighting the writing piece. Photos must make sense for the article topic and be visually appealing. 
5. Proofread – Be sure to proofread and edit your content before submitting. Do your best to rid your piece of any grammatical errors. 

When you have a piece ready to submit, complete the form to the right. Use the message section to share why you want to showcase your work and share what you wrote. 

We look forward to reading your piece. If approved, we will inform you within 72 hours. At that time, we will share when your post is scheduled to be displayed on the DMA blog.
